Ella du Plessis   Contact details 022 492 3225 073 469 1149   I joined Cum-hike in 1994 as a complete novice; gradually I have eased my way in, under the guidance of my true friends in hiking, Theo Blaauw and Phillip Momberg who have both since relocated to New Zealand. Ten years ago I became a hike leader by taking over the hikes that both Theo and Phillip introduced me to. I truly love nature and enjoy sharing all these beautiful hikes with other people and I do “stop to smell the flowers” along the way. My favourite day hikes are; Steenberg Peak, Tranquility Cracks, Cecelia Forest, and for weekend hikes De Hoop Nature Reserve, Dassieshoek (Robertson), Suikerbossie (Koue Bokkeveld) and Anysberg.
