Lionel Whatley   Contact details 082 340 5385   Since my modest hike with the club to Elephants Eye cave in Silvermine in April 2001, I got the privilege to learn from the masters of mountaineering. My love for nature was awakened during infantry training as a platoon commander in the Swartberg near Outshoorn. I met a lot of knowledgable friends in the Cumhike club and wish to share it all with newcomers to the club. I enjoy everything from easy day hikes to strenuous endurance walking events and challenges. I now live in the Overberg area and would like to invite everybody to explore the area with me. A weekend away from Cape Town is good for body and soul. See you all on the mountain. Lionel
