The Bloupunt Hiking Trail in Montagu is a challenging trail that showcases the Western Cape Province of South Africa off to perfection. It stretches for 15.6 kilometres and can take anywhere between five and nine hours to complete; depending on individual capabilities, weather conditions and group size. It rises over 1 000 metres. Starting at Joubertpark, the hike ends at the summit. The views along the trail are simply spectacular, changing all the time as one ascends and descends these heights. Deep ravines, crystal-clear streams, intriguing rock formations and the high African sky all combine for breath-taking vistas.
